The present that is not on anyone else's list

By late December most people have received several versions of the same thing. A comic made from your own photos cannot be duplicated by another relative, cannot be bought at the airport, and does not need a size or a colour. It is the year you have all just had, printed with their name on the cover.

It also solves the person who says they do not want anything. They mean they do not want more objects. This is not really an object.

Order early -- the proof is the bottleneck

Nothing is printed until you have seen every page and approved it. That step is what makes the comic good, and it is also what makes December tight. The delivery estimate on each product page is live and based on your country, but it assumes you personalise promptly after ordering. Leave a fortnight more than you think you need.

What you need

Nineteen photos for a Standard comic, thirty-eight for Extended or Hardback. Phone photos print well. If any are too blurry or dark, we tell you before printing rather than after.

The things people ask first

When do I need to order by for Christmas?

Earlier than you would for an off-the-shelf gift, because we cannot print until you have approved a proof. Use the live delivery estimate on the product page as the outer limit, and give yourself an extra fortnight on top for the personalising and proof step.

Can I order now and personalise later?

You can, but the delivery estimate assumes you personalise promptly. Ordering in November and personalising in mid-December does not leave enough time.

Does it arrive gift-ready?

It arrives as a finished printed comic. It is the sort of thing that survives being handed round the room after lunch.

Can it cover more than one year?

Yes. Extended and Hardback hold thirty-eight photos, which is usually the right choice if you are covering several years rather than one.

What if the photos are on someone else's phone?

Get them sent over first. You can start the comic, stop, and finish it later once you have everything -- it saves as you go.
